We have been blessed to have had an advocate for health care, education, jobs and the middle class. Conover dedicated 100 percent in her two years as our representative. She spent more than a year going door to door. She wrote and sponsored more than 200 bills in this short time.
I have never seen someone work so hard for Oakland and Sidney. She will be truly missed in Augusta yet her time will always have a positive impact on District 78. I wish her the best.
Also, I would like to say our next representative should be Sam Bromberg. He has also been going door to door. It is nice to see that some people running for office still do this and it shows the will to work and listen for every vote.
He is an active member in the community (for example, doing local food drives to help those in need). I hope all of District 78 gets to meet Bromberg before Nov. 4 and see that he will bring the right issues and concerns to Augusta.
