I guess I am confused on who is running against Susan Collins.

I thought it was the Tom Allen who has been a representative for about 12 years in "Washington." But he keeps saying Washington needs leadership. If only the senators are leaders, why are we paying for all those representatives?

He operates under the assumption that he is right about Iraq and everything President Bush does is wrong. That is his campaign, negative, negative, negative.

Since the Democrats have taken over both houses, I don't see things getting better, in fact, they are getting worse.

I don't see any accountability for what went wrong on Wall Street or in Washington. I have more than a few places that I disagree with Collins but she is one of the hardest-working senators in Washington.

I don't hear much about Allen voting to leave without working on an energy bill that even the folks in Augusta were disappointed about. Maine folks will be better off to keep Collins in Washington.
