Donald Barrett wrote a good letter (Aug. 9) about our independent candidate for the Senate, Herbert Hoffman.

I happen to be an independent voter and would like people to know that we are losing our voting right one political chip at a time.

Both parties will try to win any way they can and both parties can be very sneaky.
