North American Union by 2010, be very afraid
Kennebec Journal & Morning Sentinel 12/03/2007

Globalist bankers work for years to subvert our freedoms, yet little is done by our own government to prevent them.

A 12- lane NAFTA "TransAmerican Highway" is being built from Mexico to Canada without the prior knowledge or approval of the American people, and our so-called "free" press mentions nothing about it.

President Bush signs the 2005 Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) with Mexico's Presidente Fox, and Canada's Prime Minister Martin which requires the three countries to be merged into one nation called the North American Union by 2010!

Our Constitution is betrayed, our Bill of Rights trampled. American sovereignty is ending, our American dollar will be replaced by the "amero," much the same as the euro has become the European Union currency.

A talk show host recently commented, "Americans are no longer interested in freedom: they just hope that their new masters will be kind." History shows that no master is kind.

Become informed through books like: "The Insiders" by John McManus, "Shadows of Power" by James Perloff, "None Dare Call It Treason" by John Stormer and magazines like "The New American" published by the John Birch Society.

Let's kick our AWOL Congress into action! It is high time to get us out of the United Nations before our Constitution is annulled, our middle class is destroyed, and America is made into a third-world nation. It's also time to urge Maine's Legislature to impeach Bush as Vermont's has.

Don't you just love conspiracy theorists?
They really make me laugh along with anything the John Birch Society publishes. Really, this letter is bringing tears to my eyes from laughter.report abuse

Robert, don't confuse "partnership" with "union". The following claim is completely false... "The SPP requires the three countries to be merged into one nation called the North American Union by 2010!". Read the Council of Foreign Relations report to see for yourself before considering theory; http://www.cfr.org/content/publications/attachments/NorthAmerica_TF_final.pdf

On the other hand... While it's much too early to worry, I wouldn't laugh, fishin... There must be a reason that nobody wants to deal effectively with illegal immigration. report abuse

You want conspiracy Reader1 and Fishin ... Fox "Republican" News joined with the Bush administration to ensure the elimination of the inheritance tax, which only affected people with assets of over $3 million. They called it the "death tax." Forget the cost to the treasury in lost revenues (it will come from the middle class instead), Bush, Cheney and 30 cabinet officials stood to gain $344 million! Talk about feathering your own nest!! Oh those poor, poor wealthy! So you had a bunch of millionaires arguing "fairness" against the middle class no less, and that's so deserving people like Paris Hilton can inherit even more! Don't talk "fairness," the framers never intended the tax system to be "fair," but equitable. Republicans aren't about "fairness" for the majority of people in the United States, so if you want to talk about "conspiracies," you bet, I think that there is a Republican and Fox "Republican" News and right-wing conspiracy to fleece the middle class, scare people into giving up their freedoms, and overreach by using every means necessary to seize power for corporations and the wealthy. The failures in Iraq were in part caused by the Bush administration model of seizing all Iraqi assets, then turning them over to multi-national corporations, which in turn would use them to virtually enslave workers in formerly Iraqi owned businesses. That's the problem with the Republican approach, it doesn't work and presumes that the wealthy and big corporations ought to actually control everything. Well friend, putting a massive amount of power and wealth in the hands of a few is NOT Democracy. The "conspiracy" going on is that Republicans want to destroy Democracy in practice by handing over everything possible to the wealthy few, while the rest beg for crumbs. If people point this out, they are accused of being "communists." Americans have a LOT to worry about and at the top of the list ought to be the Republican party.report abuse

Reader1:

The reason most politicians don't want to end illegal immigration is that business (i.e.: their campaign contributors) make a lot of money by having access to a growing pool of cheap, unorganized labor. As with so many other policy decisions, just follow the money.report abuse
