Susan Collins doesn't get it
Kennebec Journal & Morning Sentinel 11/19/2007

While Olympia Snowe may toe the party line sometimes, she mostly looks out for the good of Maine.

Susan Collins would do well to follow her example, but she doesn't get it. She votes with President Bush and perpetuates this Republican nightmare.

I say it is time for her to leave. My vote will be for Tom Allen and then maybe we will see a real change in Washington.

I think both Collins and Snowe should be replaced - but by an independent or third party individual who will honor their oath to uphold the Constitution. We need to change the direction that the country is headed, and the Democrats and Republicans have both had plenty of opportunity...... failing miserably. I believe there will be other choices next November. Do some research, and see if there is a chance for REAL change.report abuse

Hate to break it to you BUt Tom Allen is no prize either. He cares about Maine this year...it is an election year. Other years nto a chance. I went to meet wiht his aides three years ago about Healthcare in Maine, and they refused to listen but yet tell me how good Tom Allen is....I thought he was supposed to listen too....He is interested in Tom Allen not Mainereport abuse

Collins and Snowe are entrenched in the stubborn woes of non change that plague the voter and it will not change in '08 either.report abuse

Right Wayne,

Let's replace Snowe and Collins by a Green Party candidate!! Good call!! In case you're wondering, I'm serious about that. I'll vote for Allen though, unless there is a good Green Party candiate who emerges.report abuse
