If you like Bush, you have not been paying attention

Okay, Bush supporter, he hasn't done anything wrong. Well then, what has he done right? Bush just requested another $60 billion to keep the war in Iraq going. Troops dying daily, for what -- democracy? Are we sure about that? We could be spending lots of money on ways to make our country less dependent on foreign oil. Meanwhile Iran is polishing up their nukes. The way the Bush administration handled the Katrina disaster was an atrocity. Katrina was predicted. The devastation she would bring was known. It could have been completely prevented. What about the Medicare fiasco? Now, the sale of our ports to Arabs? And Bush didn't even know about it? Come on. The vice president, Mr. NRA, goes quail hunting without a license and shoots his friend. Then he doesn't bother to say anything about it. The secrecy and blatant disregard for integrity of this administration is outrageous. I'd like to see someone like Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, running this country. A person with integrity. Thankfully, Collins questions the Bush administration and voices her concerns. Collins should keep asking questions. We need people like her to help us, the American people, fight the real axis of evil. Impeach Bush. Susan Collins for president. Cindy Guilmette Athens |
