Time to think about switching horses

Yet here in the United States, the "Rove escapade" is still under investigation after almost two years. Could it be that Great Britain's police, security and intelligence forces do not have to clear all investigative actions by an administration in case they do not coincide with a personal political agenda? At this writing, Judith Miller remains in jail on this matter. She printed nothing. And then there is columnist Robert Novak (and his usual arrogance), who disclosed the name of the CIA operative in print for all the world to see. Equal justice for all? So wake up, America. The notion of not changing horses in midstream has been carried dangerously too far. If you are on an old stallion and it is drowning in an ocean of national debt and a personal, ideologically conceived war, it is pretty stupid not to dismount. In between vacations and daily self-coronation jaunts (lately before military audiences because they have to be silent then clap real loud), the current White House resident is probably planning another four-hour trip to Iraq so he can have his picture taken while holding up a large tray with a plastic turkey and trimmings on it.
