Roman Catholic Bishop Richard Malone of the Portland Diocese needs to be either reprimanded or replaced -- not for his stance on the gay marriage issue, but for dragging the church into the fray; and for telling the people, through the diocesan priests ,that they must donate to the anti-gay movement and to do everything in their collective power to destroy the state acceptance of equal rights for all Maine people.
