FAIRFIELD -- Blair Blaisdell held O'Brien Oil to two hits while striking out nine and walking three as Fairfield won 4-0 in Zone 2 play on Thursday.
Blaisdell also hit a solo home run to lead off the fifth inning and added a single. Dakota Marshall had an RBI single for Fairfield (5-2), whose other two runs scored on errors.
Adam Leclair took the loss for O'Brien Oil. He struck out four batters and walked two.
