SOUTH CHINA -- Camillo Pardo pitched a complete-game one-hitter to lead Erskine Academy past Belfast Area High School 1-0 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B baseball game Friday.

Pardo struck out six and walked one. He had five 1-2-3 innings, throwing 78 pitches in all. Erskine (6-3) scored in the third when Derek DeRose reached on a bunt single, was sacrificed to second by Sean Hutchinson and -- after a walk to Nick Grady -- came home on a Pete Gerrity RBI single.

Derick Bernosky pitched equally as well, allowing four hits while striking out five and walking two for Belfast (2-6). Matt Steinort had the only hit for the Lions.

Skowhegan 9, Mt. Blue 1: Devin Sylvain pitched a complete game, allowing one run on five hits, while walking one and striking out four to lift the Indians in a KVAC A game in Skowhegan.

John Little had two singles, while Marcus Morin had a double and a single for Skowhegan (10-1). Mike Saucier added a double and Sylvain a triple for the Indians.

Leo Pullo had three singles for Mt. Blue (2-9).

Mt. View 12, Medomak Valley 3: The Mustangs used six hits and an error during a seven-run second inning to blow their KVAC B game wide open in Thorndike.

Mt. View (5-3) finished with 15 hits, including six for extra bases. Ethan Jean hit two triples and drove in two runs. Keil Lemieux hit a three-run double, while Derek Keller added a double and two RBIs.

Tyler Miles held Medomak (4-5) to three runs -- all unearned -- on seven hits. He struck out four and walked none.

Buckfield 16-10, Valley 2-4: Valley committed 16 errors over two games to help Buckfield earn the East-West Conference sweep at home.

Justin Woodcock drove in three runs and scored three for Buckfield in Game 2. Scott Hunnewell scored twice for Valley (1-8) in Game 1.

Mt. Abram 15, Madison 5: Hank Poulin had two singles, a double and scored four runs as the Roadrunners (2-7) beat the Bulldogs in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Madison.

Lucas Libby had four singles, while Erza Gourley had a double and a single for Madison (1-8) in the loss.

Winthrop 13, Carrabec 3, 5 innings: Easton Morang pitched a complete-game three-hitter, striking out seven and walking none to lead the host Ramblers to the MVC win.

Bryan Lawson had a double and two RBIs for Winthrop (8-1) while Tyler Cobb had a single and two RBIs. Forrest Dwyer homered. Pat Daubenberger doubled for Carrabec (0-9).

Lincoln 6, Waterville 5: Waterville scored four runs in the top of the seventh inning, only to see Lincoln score five times in the bottom of the inning to take the KVAC B win in Newcastle.

Kris Huggins homered for Waterville (4-5). Eric Morgner earned the win in relief for Lincoln (7-2).

Brewer 11, Messalonskee 1: The host Witches cruised past the Eagles under the lights. No other information was available from the game.
