Hayden tripled in the sixth inning to drive in a run and then scored to tie it on a single by Brittany Lichtenfels for Madison (5-4). Mikayla Stoutamer led off the sixth with a walked.
Jillian Withee had a double and a single, while Kenni Norton had two singles and a triple for Mt. Abram (4-5) in the loss.
Winslow 12, Camden Hills 5: Jill Smith had two hits and Katie Knowlen pitched the complete game to lead the Black Raiders (8-1). Knowlen struck out six and walked one in the win.
Chelsea Ettinger had two hits to lead the Windjammers.
Waterville 9, Lincoln 3: Brittany Locke had two singles and two RBIs as the Panthers beat Lincoln (2-7) in a KVAC B game in Newcastle.
Jessica Boucher added a single and two RBIs, while Paige Gardiner had a double, two singles and an RBI for Waterville (6-3).
MCI 3, Rockland 2: Jordan Kennedy allowed two runs on two hits while walking one and striking out 11 to beat the Tigers in a KVAC B game in Pittsfield.
Kristi Smith took the loss for Rockland (1-7), allowing three runs on six hits, while walking one and striking out eight.
MCI (3-5) turned a double play in the top of the fourth inning to stifle a Rockland rally. Kennedy fielded a bunt and threw out the runner at first. Second baseman Kristy Huff, who fielded the throw at first, then threw to the plate to cut a runner down.
Skowhegan 7, Mt. Blue 1: Rebecca McCarty singled, tripled and pitched six strong innings to lead Skowhegan past Mt. Blue. MCCarty struck out eight and walked just one to help the Indians (6-5).
Kaitlyn Bartlett had two singles to lead Mt. Blue (2-9).
Carrabec 6, Winthrop 4, 9 innings: The Cobras scored twice in the top of the ninth inning to earn the MVC win in Winthrop.
Becca Bergeron had two singles and two RBIs for Carrabec (2-7). Emily Warner earned the win, striking out nine. Ashley Marcellino had two singles for Winthrop (1-7).
Medomak Valley 13, Mt. View 0: Kayla Vannah allowed only two hits, struck out eight and walked none to lead Medomak to the KVAC B victory in Thorndike.
Rachel Keefe led Medomak (7-2) with three singles and three RBIs. Kayla Santheson doubled and drove in two runs, while Ashley Hunt added two RBIs.
Medomak scored three runs in the sixth inning and five in the seventh to pull away.
Brewer 6, Messalonskee 0: Mackenzie Labbe singled in the fifth inning for the only hit of the game as the Eagles (5-6) lost to the Witches in Brewer.
Chelsea Smith earned the win, pitching a complete game shutout for the Witches. Smith struck out five and walked one in the win.
