Both runs were unearned as Hall-Dale made four errors in the inning. Ashley Geel had an RBI single for Georges Valley (6-0) in the fifth inning.
Jess Stevens and Colby Houdlette each had an RBI single for Hall-Dale (5-2).
Rangeley 13-16, Greenville 4-2: Allie Hammond had a five-hit day as Rangeley swept Greenville in East-West Conference play. Karissa Allen had a double and two singles in Game 2 for Rangeley (5-4).
Baseball
Vinalhaven 6-15, Valley 2-2: Scott Hunnewell struck out 11 with no walks in Game 1, but it wasn't enough to help the Cavaliers avoid the sweep in Bingham. Vinalhaven (2-4) scored eight runs in the sixth inning of Game 2 to pull away. Nate Hopkins drove in three runs for the Vikings. Valley is now 1-5.
Rangeley 15-3, Greenville 3-5:Ben Bliss drove in five runs to lead Rangeley to a Game 1 win, but Green-ville High School scored five runs in the fifth inning of Game 2 to take a victory and salvage the split in East-West Conference baseball action.
