Outlook: The Lakers won the Western Maine Class D title last season, and have the players back to make another run at the state crown. Hammond and Ben Bliss are at the top of a deep pitching staff, while Ben Bliss, Raymond, Madiera, Hammond, Abbott and Gordon form the nucleus of a strong lineup.
Coach’s comment: “With our pitching and four or five hitters, we should be solid.”
