OUI charge
dismissed
WATERVILLE -- A woman arrested Nov. 10 on a charge of operating under the influence was cleared based on the evidence, the district attorney said.
Joanne Frances Marmanik, 51, of Waterville, was stopped on Silver Street and was taken to the police station and her blood-alcohol content tested, according to District Attorney Evert Fowle. The test result was .06; the legal limit for alcohol consumption is .08.
"The test cleared her from criminal wrongdoing," he said.
