Richard "Ricky"Austin, 23, of Skowhegan was charged with trafficking in a schedule W drug, which includes narcotics heroin and cocaine, Class B; furnishing in a Schedule Z drug (marijuana) Class D and violation of bail.
Austin pleaded guilty Wednesday to trafficking in a Schedule W drug (Class B), and was sentenced to four years in prison, all but six months suspended, three years of probation and a $400 fine, said Detective Lt. Carl E. Gottardi II, criminal-patrol division supervisor.
Donald Roderick, 31, of Norridgewock, was arrested on a probation hold.
During the search of the residence, members of the Somerset County Sheriff's Department Warrant Team seized several ounces of marijuana, 139 Vicodin pills, drug-related paraphernalia and cash, Gottardi said.
The Vicodin pills are a controlled narcotic pill prescribed for pain, Gottardi said.
Warrant team members include Gottardi, Sgt. Thomas Rourke, Sgt. Michael Knight and Sheriff's deputies Eugene Cole, David Cole, Niles Bowman and Wilfred Dodge.
Gottardi said two Bingham men were charged Nov. 12 and 13 in an unrelated burglary and theft that occurred Nov. 11 at the Butcher Shop on 4 Miller Lane in Bingham.
Colin Singer, 20, was arrested and charged with burglary and theft.
Shaun Belflower, 20, was summonsed on a charge of receiving stolen property.
The Butcher Shop case was handled by Sheriff's Deputies Michael Ross and Eugene Cole.
The theft involved several mounted deer racks, which were recovered, Gottardi said.
