The arrests were the result of investigations by the Kennebec Valley Drug Task Force.
Arrested were Nicholas Berry, 23, of Waterville on a charge of unlawful trafficking of schedule W drugs and Nathan Bailey, 33, of Madison on a charge of unlawful trafficking of a schedule Z drug.
Oakland Police Lt. Rick Stubbert arrested Bailey, and the Kennebec County Sheriff's Office arrested Berry.
Berry was arrested in the parking lot at Rite-Aid for allegedly selling two ounces of cocaine with a street value of $4,000. This was the result of a week-long investigation. Berry was also in possession of several Ecstasy pills, police said. The Task Force seized a vehicle and cash from Berry.
Bailey was arrested while allegedly delivering two pounds of marijuana to a residence on Water Street in Waterville. An additional pound of marijuana was found in Bailey's vehicle, police said.
A vehicle and cash were seized from Bailey. The street value of the marijuana was $8,000, police said.

3:32 a.m., a caller reported an unwanted person at 29 Bellevue Street.
IN BURNHAM, Wednesday at 10:08 a.m., a South Horseback Road resident reported criminal mischief.
7:27 a.m., a North Horseback Road resident reported criminal mischief.
IN THORNDIKE, Tuesday at 6:14 p.m., a Gordon Hill Road resident reported harassment.
IN TROY, Tuesday at 8:25 a.m., a caller reported criminal mischief at 198 Ward Hill Road.
IN UNITY, Tuesday at 7:02 p.m., a Town Farm Road resident reported harassment.
IN FAIRFIELD, Tuesday at 7:10 p.m., police summonsed a Winslow man on a charge of operating under the influence.
