"She went the freezer a little after 4:30 p.m. and at 8:30 p.m. someone finally heard her screaming for help," said Winslow Police Officer Josh Veilleux. "Rescue went to help. It was 10 below in there."
Veilleux said she was taken to the hospital and released, but he has been unable to contact the woman, whose name was not released.

IN OAKLAND, Saturday at 12:16 p.m., a caller reported criminal mischief at Pleasant Point park on McGrath Pond road.
IN SKOWHEGAN, Saturday at 6:58 a.m., a caller reported mischief done on Mount Pleasant Avenue.
IN HARTLAND, Saturday at 10:31 a.m., a caller reported an assault at Bickford Hollow Road. Arrests were made.
IN FAIRFIELD, Saturday at 12:17 p.m., a caller reported mischief done at the Immaculate Heart of Mary church on High Street.
IN PALYMRA, Saturday at 5:53 p.m., a caller reported a theft on Raymond Road.

IN WINSLOW -- Sunday morning, firefighters went to Goudreau's Retirement Inn on Augusta Road for a smoke investigation. It turned out to be a defective microwave.
Arrests
IN WATERVILLE, Sunday at 1:18 a.m., Matthew Lucas, 24, 30 Crestwood Drive, Waterville, was arrested on charges of operating under the influence and violating conditions of release, West River Road.
1:22 a.m. Erica Ricker, 24, 88 Summer St., Waterville, was arrested on charges of assault and disorderly conduct, Bob-In, Temple Street.
Saturday at 10:10 p.m., Robert M. Partier, 49, 49 Middle Road, Fairfield, was arrested on a charge of operating without a license, Main Street.
IN SKOWHEGAN, Saturday at 1:50 p.m., Rusty A. Landry, 46, 8 Gilblair St., Skowhegan, was arrested on a charge of unpaid fines and fees.
IN HARMONY, Saturday at 10:09 a.m., Murray D. Bennett, 52, Streamview Drive, Harmony, was arrested on charges of criminal mischief, unauthorized use of property and operating without a license.
IN NORTH ANSON, Saturday at 10:15 p.m., Michael Coyne, 26, U.S. Route 2, Mercer, was arrested on a charge of failure to appear.
IN PITTSFIELD, Sunday at 4:20 a.m., Jason Berry, 28, 63 Lincoln St., Dover-Foxcroft, was arrested on a charge of operating after suspension.
