The board meets at 7 p.m. in the town office meeting room and intends to talk about the Hannaford plan for 90 minutes. Interested residents are welcome to listen, but the meeting isn't a public hearing.
Board Chairman Scott Rollins indicated last month that board members are unlikely to make a decision on the project at their first deliberative meeting. Hannaford has applied to build a 36,000-square-foot supermarket and a separate 20,000-square-foot retail building on Windsor Road a short distance south of the Route 3 intersection.
The plan includes installing a traffic light at the intersection and rebuilding the nearby intersection of Lakeview Drive with Route 3.
The last 30 minutes of the Planning Board meeting is scheduled to include discussions about amending the Planning Board Ordinance and a review of the Board of Appeals decision upholding planners' approval of Joseph Sears' Alder Park Road subdivision, and additional information on China Dine-ah owner Norman Elvin's expansion plans.
