The session, the only one for the board in October, begins at 7 at Mt. Blue High School.
Among the reports are ones updating the progress of the Western Mountains Regional Planning Committee, which is spearheading the regional consolidation process, and the Western Maine Collaborative.
The planning committee was recently formed from representatives of SAD 9, SAD 58, Coplin Plantation, and Highland Plantation to organize the projected merger into a new school district.
The older collaborative is made up of several regional school systems to look at ways of arranging joint purchases and sharing of resources to save money.
Also on the docket are reports on energy savings by Support Services Director David Leavitt, the Franklin County Community College network by Adult Education Director Ray Therrien, and Maine Educational Assessment test scores by Assistant Superintendent Susan Pratt.
Field trip requests are for an exchange trip for a group of eighth-graders to Arcola, Pa., April 20-May 4; project graduation for the high school senior class to Big Adventure in Bethel June 4-5; and an education trip to Washington, D.C., for 30 Mt. Blue Middle School seventh grade students April 20-24.
