Police and her family are looking for anyone who may know of her whereabouts or who may have seen her Saturday night.
"Her father became concerned for her well-being and contacted the Police Department Wednesday," Sgt. Charles J. "Chip" Rumsey IV said Friday.
Police have contacted people who know Stiefken, 35, who say this is unusual behavior for her.
"She keeps in close daily contact with the family," said police Officer Dennis Picard, who is investigating the incident.
Stiefken lives with her father, Richard Morrell, and stepmother, Paula Morrell, on Burleigh Street.
Paula Morrell said Friday that Stiefken's boyfriend of three years has not seen her and is concerned as well.
"They were supposed to get married this summer," she said. "He comes over every day to find out if we have any information."
Paula Morrell said her husband suffers from lung disease and is on oxygen, and his daughter would never go this long without calling him.
"She always calls her father, because he is not well," Paula Morrell said. "And everything she owns is at my house; all her clothes -- everything."
Stiefken has two daughters who live with Stiefken's mother in Clinton, and they have not heard from her either, according to Paula Morrell.
She said Stiefken has bipolar disorder and takes medication. She did not show up Tuesday for a scheduled mental health appointment.
"I think something bad happened to her," Morrell said.
Morrell said she last saw Stiefken around 8 p.m. Saturday when Stiefken was leaving their home to go to the Bob-In.
"She said she'd see us later,'" Paula Morrell said.
Both Paula Morrell and police said a relative of Stiefken saw her (Stiefken) leaving the Bob-In with two men the relative did not recognize. The men appeared to be in their 30s, according to police.
Stiefken, who is not currently working, is described by her stepmother as being 5-feet-10-inches tall with curly blond hair. She was last seen wearing tan pants, a black T-shirt and white New Balance sneakers.
Anyone who may have information about her is asked to call the Police Department at 680-4700.
