Butch and Tucker put on a shooting display in the first half, each going 7-of-9 from the field and scoring 20 points as the Badgers (11-1) took a 47-37 lead.
Aaron Gray, who was sick with strep throat, had 17 points and eight rebounds for the Panthers (10-1), who had their 21-game nonconference winning streak snapped.
Pittsburgh coach Jamie Dixon had never lost before Jan. 1 in a season, a streak of 44 games.
NO. 3 NORTH CAROLINA 93, NORTH CAROLINA-ASHEVILLE 62: Brandan Wright had 21 points and nine rebounds to lead the Tar Heels, who won their fifth straight.
Tyler Hansbrough and Wayne Ellington each scored 15 points for North Carolina, while Reyshawn Terry added 13 points and six rebounds.
Bryan Smithson scored 20 points to lead the Bulldogs (4-6) of the Southern Conference, who fell to 0-44 against Atlantic Coast Conference opponents.
North Carolina, which hadn't played for a week while in exams, used a 22-1 run to take a 19-point lead midway through the first half.
NO. 4 OHIO ST. 72, CINCINNATI 50: Greg Oden dominated the middle in his hometown Saturday, finishing with 14 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks in 27 minutes as No. 4 Ohio State routed Cincinnati 72-50 on Saturday.
It was the most lopsided victory margin in the Wooden Tradition, which dates to 2000. The previous record was Cincinnati's 79-59 win over Purdue in 2004.
The Buckeyes (9-1) also got 13 points from Ivan Harris and 10 from Ron Lewis.
John Williamson had 17 points and Jamual Warren added 13 for Cincinnati (7-3).
GEORGIA 96, NO. 16 GONZAGA 83: Levi Stukes scored 25 points and Sundiata Gaines added a season-high 21 to lift Georgia to a 96-83 victory over No. 16 Gonzaga on Saturday.
Georgia, picked by media to finish last in the Southeastern Conference's Eastern Division, won its sixth straight game.
Georgia (7-1) forced Gonzaga (9-3) into a season-high 21 turnovers, four more than its previous high in a win over North Carolina on Nov. 22.
NO. 18 BUTLER 68, PURDUE 65: No problem with A.J. Graves' eyesight this time.
Graves, who had blurred vision after being poked in the eye in Butler's last game, scored 25 points and the 18th-ranked Bulldogs took the lead in the final minute for a 68-65 victory over Purdue.
"I'm fine," said Graves, a junior guard and Butler's leading scorer at 17.9 points a game. "I had troubles, obviously, (last) Saturday night and Sunday. It just took me time to get it back, but it's fine now."
NO. 20 MARQUETTE 68, MARYLAND-BALTIMORE COUNTY 46: Marquette coach Tom Crean thinks his Golden Eagles are on the verge of playing some great basketball.
"The first half was one of our best defensive efforts of the entire year. I think our offense has continued to improve," Crean said Saturday after No. 20 Marquette beat Maryland-Baltimore County 68-46. "I think we're on the cusp of playing really good basketball."
NO. 21 NOTRE DAME 94, ELON 63: Russell Carter scored 21 points and Rob Kurz had 16 points and 12 rebounds to lead No. 21 Notre Dame to its seventh straight victory, 94-63 over Elon.
The Irish (8-1), coming off consecutive wins over ranked teams, jumped to a 10-0 lead in the opening two minutes and the Phoenix (1-7) never threatened. Notre Dame has scored more than 90 points four times in its past five games and six times overall this season.
NO. 23 SYRACUSE 94, BAYLOR 71: Demetris Nichols matched his career high for the second straight game, scoring 28 points, including 10 straight in the first 2:31 of the second half, and No. 23 Syracuse beat Baylor 94-71.
It was the first meeting between Syracuse (9-2) and Baylor (6-3), which lost for the 23rd straight time to a ranked team.
WOMEN
NO. 2 NORTH CAROLINA 92, SOUTH CAROLINA ST. 42: Camille Little scored 18 points, and Ivory Latta added 15 points and six assists to lead No. 2 North Carolina to a 92-42 victory over South Carolina State.
Jessica Breland added 13 points, and Rashanda McCants had 10 for North Carolina (11-0). Little hit five of her first seven shots and had 12 points by halftime, when North Carolina led 40-17.
NO. 8 OHIO ST. 98, ALABAMA A&M 55: Coming off its first loss of the season, No. 8 Ohio State had something to prove.
Brandie Hoskins scored 18 points and Jessica Davenport added 16 to lead the Buckeyes to a 98-55 victory over Alabama A&M on Saturday, helping to take away the sting from last Sunday's loss at LSU.
NO. 14 STANFORD 74, UTAH 47: Jayne Appel scored 15 points, Jillian Harmon had 14 and Candice Wiggins added 13 to help No. 14 Stanford rout Utah 74-47.
Cissy Pierce also finished in the doubles figures, scoring 10 for the Cardinal (5-3) in their third straight victory.
NO. 16 LOUISVILLE 80, BELMONT 51: Chauntise Wright had 21 points and seven rebounds to lead No. 16 Louisville to an 80-51 victory over Belmont.
Helen Johnson scored 14 points in her first game since serving a five-game suspension for violating team rules. Angle McCoughtry added 13 points and eight rebounds for the Cardinals (11-0).
Shaunda Strayhorn led Belmont (7-3) with 12 points. Scoring leader Alysha Clark managed just nine points, seven below her season average.
NO. 20 GEORGE WASHINGTON 62, AUBURN 51: Kenan Cole scored 15 points and No. 20 George Washington held off a late Auburn rally for 62-51 victory.
Sarah-Jo Lawrence added 14 points and Kimberly Beck had 12 points for the Colonials (9-2). Whitney Allen had a game-high 12 rebounds to go with six points.
