One thing the state should use down town Augusta for any new office them idiots think they need.Your leaders im refering to.report abuse

They are emty because they have no use.It may be never that there is a use.This day and age the best bet is turn the down towns into class rooms.report abuse

JGC24, Skowhegan has been a Main Street town for 4 years. Many of the improvements in downtown Skowhegan in the past few years are as a direct result of this program. A lot of people have devoted lots of time to the effort. I believe that the number of volunteer hours is over 15,000.report abuse

Farmington and Augusta downtowns look pretty darn good to me. Why didn't they pick towns that really need sproucing up, for example: Skowhegan?

The further South in the State of Maine, the more attention you get. Old hat as usual!!report abuse
