glad to see Lawrence results as part of the story... spent most of my day at a track meet today. saw the new national record being set in the boys 4 x 800... 7:33.48. No, really. The anchor runner did a 1:48.8 split to secure the new mark. Same guy went on to win the open 800 in an easy-looking 1:53.7. The 400 boys was won in ... 46.91. scary fast.
