I wish more information was available like this for people whose health is compromised simply because they do not know who to turn to, or where to go.
It still does not help my brother, who lost his job and could not afford the insulin. The advise he received from a doctor was, "wait until your blood sugar is so high you feel sick, and then go to an ER!" He nearly lost his eyesight(retinopathy) when he finally found another job whose insurance paid for the surgery and treatments. And all of this could have been avoided if he could get the insulin he needs to live.report abuse
