If money is to be thrown, it would be refreshing to see it thrown at people rather than: oil companies, banks, automobile companies, Wall Street crooks... Throw enough money at them and Republicans buy their way to office!report abuse

HeyRube lets see "Change" how many Senators and Reps or Govenors are going to be in the cabinet. What goes on in Washington stays in Washington. Doesn't seem like much "Change" to me. Lets see Tax & Spend, Cut & Run, did I leave anything out. No I'm not a greeter I'm retired after having worked most of my life. You & J.P. never met a cause you couldn't throw money at, throw money at people and they will vote Democrat.report abuse

Thank you Mr. Devine, for the primer on moral relativism. The social changes desired by any group rise to the level of the racial Civil Rights movement of the '60's. Therefore, all behaviors associated with each must be accepted and stamped as normal and decent. Next, we must institutionalize these behaviors as "sacred". Also, as Devine does, we must ridicule tradition and belief in natural law.report abuse

While I loath Devin and seldom share his viewpoints, I too honestly could care less about gays getting married, having a civil union or whatever. It won't have any affect on me that i can see.

What two people do in their home is none of my business so long as they consent and no one else gets hurt. I do not feel as a heterosexual superior to gays in any way, so who am I to judge them. Seems I remember a line in the Bible that went something like, "do not judge lest ye be judged."

Just can't understand with everything going on in the world why this is so important. I guess it is a handy little smoke screen for the right so folks don't notice what a mess they made of this country.

Of course that is my opinion, I could be wrong.report abuse
