If the newspapers reported some of the hard-hitting stories they would not be under such financial pressure. The support of the phony excuse to invade Iraq stands out. In Maine we have the Protected
corrupt Sheriff system that allowed the sheriffs
to Strip Females for minor problems. Is stripping a female a part of the benefits that sheriffs enjoy?
Funny, the Professional State Police do not enjoy
that benefit. In Knox county it cost the state some
three million dollars to settle a court case, over the stripping deal.
In York County another three million dollars.
{$3,000,000} We now have another case of a "Strip
The Ladies", in Cumberland County. The refusal of the Governor to step into this Strip contest
makes the State of Maine, complicit by ignorance.
What is the Governore afraid of? It's time to
De-Claw the Sheriff system. We need oversight over this corrupt system. The Governor should use emergency Powers granted to him to protect the
public and install the State Police as guardians with oversight powers over this Antiquated sheriff system. Let's do away with the Sheriff system.report abuse
