3 years ago I was fishing for stripers with my father in law and we saw a seal on the shore by the park in Winslow. Biologists that were on the river gathering information on the shad run told us that they were common in Augusta before they removed the edwards dam. Lets remove all the dams and maybe we can have seals in Moosehead and Sebasticook Lakes.report abuse

wow no one even commented on this. look it is stange to hear of a seal in waterville. I'm just glad that it's getting help now. I wonder if anyone gave it a name. maybe hathaway should be it's name. i'm just glad thing worked outreport abuse
