It was difficult getting around , but not impossible. I learned to walk alot , I learned that TAXIs are expensive. I also learned that there are other ways to enjoy life , than sitting in a bar getting soused every night.
Maine judges need to reread the law. Licences are NOT a right . They are a PRIVILEDGE. They (LICENCES)are not a NECESSITY. They are a luxurt and should be treated as such.
These people that say they need their license to commute back and forth to work are making a feeble excuse. No one forced them to stop at the bar or pick up the 32 pk of beer on the way home. That was their own choice , as was drinking and driving.
MAYBE, if they knew that they would automatically lose their license for a minimum of 1 year and have to retest in order to get it back, MAYBE, they would think before they drove drunk.MAYBE. In Mass. the second offense iis for 5 yearsloss of license and the third offense it is GONE.report abuse
