As Cheryl's friend and other friends of hers we all very much miss her daily. We all need closer for the death of Cheryl. If this is going to happen buckle up it's going to be a bumpy ride. In everyone one's heart we know he did it and why he did it we will never know. But I believe that still justice will be done, and he'll get his in the end. Sara if you read this know that I will be there and I will see this to the end again. and know we all miss you so much hunni and only want the best for you... try to have a good christmas and we love you....report abuse

As Cheryl's Mom I feel this is a good thing and we will have justice. It may take a little longer to hear his sentence, but that is OK. He is where he will spend a long time, A CELL WITH FEW GOOD THINGS. He is in the BIG HOUSE not the county jail with the easy life. Justice Mills did the right thing, this way we won't worry so much about a new trial, Shannon will spend a long time thinking about what he has done and it only gives more time for Shirley to be found. I know that in the long run he will never get out of jail and that may be better than a quick death for him. He will suffer a long, long time. We all miss Cheryl so much and life will never be the same without her. I cry for her every day and always will. No matter the sentence, life will never be what it was before her murder. We loved her so much, what a loss this is for all of us.report abuse
