Well, duh! I paid $120 for a 9' artificial tree; we've used it for 14 years, and it's still in great shape. That's $8.57 per year, and we'll likely have it for several more years.

So why would I spend $50+ for a smaller tree that is used one time, requires maintenance (watering) and is just plain messy, during both set-up and removal?

And I haven't even mentioned the ecological reasons why an artificial tree is better....report abuse
