They police may be doing this to get money out of people but it is also for your safety. I don't have a problem with them enforcing the law. As far as wearing your seat belt, whatever, I believe its the choice of the people in the car. But people drinking and driving, I want them to continue to enforce no drinking and driving. If they didn't, how many people would get behind the wheel, not thinking twice about the danger they are putting the other people on the road in?report abuse

When I stop at a red light,BEFORE I GO ON GREEN,I WAIT AFEW SECONDS LOOKING AT THE INTERSECTIONS TO MAKE SURE IT IS CLEAR BEFORE I PROCEED. If I didn't do this procedure there could be alot of accidents. Try this at your next red light, bet you'll notice that if you hadn't waited a couple of seconds and paid attention cars come through on their red light.report abuse
