Michael Denis and nonnoggin: I average 6 to 8 credit card offers a month. When I receive them, I take my name off of the application and write in big letters with a magic marker, the words (all in big block letters), "no, non, nien, nyet, nunka, uh uh", All meaning no in diff languages! Then I write them a note to the effect of the way they do business. They pay 3 times for one piece of mail! 1. They pay to mail it to me! 2. They pay again(the prepaid envelope to return the app to them! And 3. Pay again to have it(trash, unfilled and unsigned) hauled to the dump! They have a very efficient way of doing business huh! I wonder what their shareholders would say about how these banks use their shareholders money! Oh! And I also send back the evelope that the app came in, although it soes not fit in the return envelope as the original one is too large to fit! A pair of scissors takes care of that part! I also tell them in a note that if they continue sending me their unsolicited, unwanted, junk, trash mail, I will just send it "ALL" back to them! Since they send me unwanted, unsolicited junk, trash mail, I return the favor! Sometimes, I even send back some of my trash, like expired coupons of all kinds, you know, like Mc D's, Burger King etc, and here is the part I like the best: I send back some apps from one bank to another! You know, like send an app from Wells Fargo, send that one back to Citi Bank and so on! Hey! If they want a credit card application back, I accomodate them! They can pay to have their own trash hauled to the dump! "NEAT HUH"!report abuse

I was the only customer in Sign Of The Sun last Monday while 2 clerks chatted together the whole time I was there and couldn't get either one to acknowledge my presence. I left and took my business to Main Street where I spent $100 for a gift. If this is the marketing strategy most businesses have up their sleeve this holiday shopping season, all I can say is: Good Luck!report abuse
