In 2001 the State of Maine approved over $25 million dollars in tax breaks and other government beenies to the world’s richest company WALMART to build a private building in Lewiston,Maine. At the time i believe i was the only individual in the ENTIRE State of Maine to think that was a disgrace. Even posters on the conservative forum ‘As Maine Goes’ posted nothing but positive posts about giving tax breaks to Walmart.

I bet the State of Maine could surely use that $25 million in taxes to save some of these education cuts and job laid offs now about to happen in Maine.

No one ever claimed Mainers to be too smart. Dopes.report abuse

Cutting four hairs on your head doesn't give a haircut!

I wanna see some high paid department heads walking!

Democrats, again, are Too little too late with the solutions!
