God forbid he help people get treatment! If you think about it, Methadone Treatment could be CONSIDERED any one of those things that this money was earmarked for: from AIDS prevention (methadone treatment IS definately an AIDS preventer!) to housing (he gave people lodging rather than make them drive 8hourss) to drug prevention!

This case is a complete waste of taxpayer money. It not like he took the money to pay his own bills! He saw a HUGE problem in his members and helped create HOPE. If the money had been used for something other than methadone treatment this wouldn't even have been an issue.

Information I have suggests that the current Passamaquoddy Governor, Billy Nicholas, is also corrupt having done some of the same things that Mr. Newall did. Political corruption seems to be the way of the Passamaquoddy governments, past and present. In 1989, I was the Passamaquoddy Fish & Wildlife consultant and rewrote the Tribal Ordinances which made me privy to some of the corruption. I knew Billy Nicholas as a corrupt tribal ranger - and Mr. Nicholas is aware that I have information and records regarding his corruption.report abuse
