Another thing...those years post WWII were when having a child out of 'wedlock' (as it was put in those days) was a 'mortal sin!' Looked down upon. HOW pathetic. That attitude.
Gaye...so true. Once a mother, always the right to know. Either way! Let the adoptive records be public to family, and the birth certificate also.
