Any professional license in Maine can be verified online. Why he was hired and allowed to practice this long is the real question.report abuse

Assault and reckless conduct are only two of the additional charges that should have been brought. That harm was actually done is not a requirement of the charge, reckless conduct. A substantial risk of harm is all that is required.

Background checks are essential, and obviously this one wasn't completely done. Written references with phone numbers for a follow up call. License checks. Is the therapist credentialed? Member of the APTA or other professional organization? Published author, by any chance?report abuse
