Keep dreaming, Anna. Do some research....you will find that an overwhelming majority of lung cancer cases ARE caused by smoking...the largest preventable cause of death.....report abuse

Congratulations Lois! My 49-year-old sister, another non-smoker with lung cancer, will love to read your story of survival! There are too few such stories.
It will be a great day when people don't feel the need to blame people for their diseases. A smoker in college but butt-free for 26 years... I can't imagine there's a connection. Has her cancer actually be going that long? Something else is causing this but we won't know what because lung cancer is not getting the research dollars it deserves, considering it kills more people than all the other cancers combined. It's too easy to attribute it to smoking and sweep it under the rug.
Keep telling your story, Lois. You're an inspiration. And keep winning the fight!report abuse
