Actually Viva I find it more amusing that they talk about liberty and personal responsibility yet think it's ok to ignore the first amendment regarding religion (let's force prayer in school), the 5th amendment (torture is ok,) want a constitutional amendment to prevent gay marriage as well as lots of others all in the name of security or morality. Their morality, not the individuals, but when it comes to responsibility, ahhh, THEN individuals count. Many of them profess to follow Ayn Rand, but that seems only as far as capitalism is concerned. When it comes to individual morality, now we have a different story. To too many of them it is "Believe in what I believe or leave the country."
Can't have it both ways. So Libertarians really need to choose, individual liberty/responsibility or government interference with both.report abuse

Odd how when it comes to the military, well now, let's spend any amount, give them any weapon's system, not question their conduct, because they can't make mistakes. When it comes to everything else, such as regulating the markets to ensure that what just happened doesn't happen, it's very bad according to Republi-CONS.report abuse
