Decriminilized it should be! What BS, you know, you can't look at someone and tell if they smoke pot! For all you judgemental people, you would be surprised at your friends/acquaintences who smoke now and then, and NO it is not a gateway drug! And it causes nothing, but the munchies! Get over it! If Mass is going to decriminilize I hope that it happens here, it's an absolute waste of resourses to bother with it legally! Hard drugs, different story!report abuse

Prescription drugs cause more deaths and serious health problems than "pot" ever has or could. the thought that it is a cause of autism is not only unfounded but pure stupidity. People have been not only smoking but eating marijuana for thousands of years, and furthermore it is not a drug but an herb that grows wild all over the planet. Successful medical marijuana programs are in place in a few states already and are working well. As with any substance that affects your mind or body it should be used in moderation. If it were legalized regulated and taxed it would indeed help the governments financial turmoil. Tobacco and alcohol kill people every day but they are legal. Marijuana does not kill anybody. Marijuana was only made illegal in the early 1900s to try and keep Mexicans from coming to America. So it was made illegal to stop immigration into the good old USA, the very thing this country was made from. So the prohibition on marijuana is just un-American.report abuse
