Republicans do things like confuse holding "leaders" like George W. Bush and his Republi-CON henchmen accountable with being unpatriotic is evidence that some simply will dig in their heels no matter what is coming their way. The ultimate disrespect for the troops was to send them to an unnecessar war for oil based on lies in Iraq, mismanage that war, and play politics the entire time. Our troops and our country deserve far more than the empty-headed, vicious rhetoric of failed, deceitful Republicans! Of course the McCain and Palin campaign has come down to deceit, lies and distortions.
They have nothing else to run on.
The general outreach for Republicans is to deceive anyway. Are there really enough ignorant people to vote "Republican" in numbers needed to elect these charlitans? Yes, unforunately. The Republican game is clear. Appeal to the misunderstandings or complete lack of understanding of a host of issues, then sell fantasies. This business of everyone getting "wealthy" through hard work. Gee, nice, except generally it's not true. Most wealth in America when you look at overall proportion of the population, isn't earned, it is inherited or, as we have seen on Wall Street, outright stolen. We're talking overall numbers here. When Republicans hold someone up as a "success story," it's the exception, not the rule. And so, Americans struggle for health care, work more hours for less, and slide back economically. It's enough to make you want to vote Democratic. Come to think of it, that's it! VOTE DEMOCRATIC!report abuse
