The judge did what she needed to do and Alsop signed off on it at the time of the trial. He is grabbing at straws. Why should Atwood get a second chance, Cheryl didn't, she can't say wait a minute I want a second chance to live. He did the crime and he will pay. He shouldn't have the chance to walk on this earth. He has taken two lives and has been found guilty for one of them. I know that he will be found guilty of Shirley's death too. Let justice prevail, put him away forever don't give him a second chance at a trial, niether of his victims got a second chance!!! AND WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO AN EYE FOR AN EYEreport abuse

I think that he definitely is going to get what he deserves.Justice Mills told all attorneys about the story and what she did about it and there were no concerns then.Alsop is digging for anything he can to get his client off,he seems to be a sore looser to me.
I was at the trial from day 1 and Justice Mills did her job well.I think that my sister would be very happy with her decision because she put the man away that took her life and made the rest of her family suffer so much pain.Shannon Atwood needs to stay in jail and pay for what he has donereport abuse
