I would like to make a further comment as to the last question asked of us, namely - what do we see as the most pressing SOCIAL issue that we will face in the next two years. While I do not disagree with Rep. Cotta's view that Health Care is one of the most pressing matters facing our State, I do not see this as a "social" problem - but rather a policy issue.
Thus, because of my understanding of the question - I believe that as I said during the interview, the most pressing SOCIAL issue we will face will indeed be the rights of the gay community - specifically the right of same sex couples to legally marry. And I do in fact support the gay community 110% on this issue and will fight very hard for them in the next legislature when this comes up, which I believe it will. And finally, I have received their trust in this by way of their PAC - EQME, which honored me with their endorsement.
SINCERELY -- Christopher M. Doyon
