"nobody cares about your opinion"

I do... just as much as I care about yours. Anybody who has to share the road with these inconsiderate jerks knows what I'm talking about and shares my opinion. There were no police present at the intersection, I was there. The bikes rolled through several dozen cycles of red lights doing 40-50 miles per hour in a 25 mph zone, not stopping until a car among the group prevented them from passing.

With all due respect, I'm sure most of these bikers are great people any other day of the week but when they join a group of riders, they turn into lawless jackasses. I happened upon a group of three of them today riding painfully slow, plugging both southbound lanes on College ave so they could hold a conversation, oblivious to the traffic they were holding up behind them.

"you're not as clever as Chris Farley"

-In case you couldn't tell, I made no attempt at humor... merely communicating my toy run experience. Be sure to stop for red lights Sunday because I'd hate to take the life of an EMT or electrician if there's no police directing traffic and my light is green.report abuse

Hey Matt, keep your van down by the river, cause nobody cares about your opinion! If you were stopped for an hour by a parade of bikes it was because they had a police escort stopping traffic. Sort of like all the other parades you have to stop for. More likely you were "smokin a bone" and time just seemed to slow down.

As far as the "animals" think about your statement the next time you need a firefighter, EMT, CPA, police officer, trauma room RN,electrician, IT specialist, college teacher, personnel manager or communication technician. Yes these are a few of the professions held by the group I ride with.

So stay in your van down by the river, you're not as clever as Chris Farley.report abuse

The rest of us might as well stay home. Whenever these clowns ride in large groups, they lose all respect for traffic laws or fellow motorists. I remember a number of years ago spending over a half hour at an intersection because, out of several hundred of these thoughtless toy jockeys, not a single one felt the need to stop for red lights. A few cars who found themselves among the pack had stopped for the light, the bikes just drove around them, often giving them the finger for obeying the law.

It's a great cause, but these animals are a tremendous nuisance to the public when they get together.report abuse

Great and fine gesture of the 'boys on their toys' with their toys. But, how far down the highway would I get with my tin flivver if the exhaust made noise like the big boys(and girls) toys?????report abuse
