You know, for someone who isn't worthy of consideration and so lost I don't even know I am, I generate an awful lot of notice and consideration.

You did hit on one thing though, the completely and thoroughly illustrates the difference between a conservative and a liberal.

I am interested in advancing the interest of only one group of people. Most conservatives, myself included, are interested in advancing the interests of AMERICANS. As a matter of fact, I do oppose affirmative action, in terms of quotas and changing standards in order to "advance the opportunities of certain groups".

Democrats are the ones sowing division, race baiting, class warfare, and "progressive" policies. If we simply were AMERICANS, and worked together to fulfill the destiny we all share, we'd be better off.

Seems like Democrats are always the ones angry about something. They "hate" this and that, and "despise" other stuff. Other people who don't agree with them are "closed minded and intolerant", and not worthy of consideration. They're "knuckle draggers".

And we're "divisive"? Interesting observation my friend. Very interesting indeed.

I think you've become what you've despised most.report abuse

Leon,

Republicans CREATE problems, do you get that? Digging us into a fiscal hole with debt to places like Communist China while allowing an "anything goes" approach to Wall Street is limiting America's future. That's what REPUBLICANS have done!

Anyone who votes for the Republican party this time around really brands themselves as a fetish voter, someone unconcerned with issues who places a fetish for party above accountability.

Leon, it appears you are just such a person.report abuse

If the Left Wing had as big a problem with this as some claim, it wouldn't be happening. There are many on the right, including myself, who disagree with lists of people who cannot fly, are being watched, and cannot buy a gun, without some process of fairness and an allowance to confront their accuser and view the evidence against them.

Obama gets elected, that isn't going away. He'll blow some smoke here and there, make people think he's doing something. Meantime, nothing will change on the Patriot Act. McCain has promised to review it "to check violations of civil liberties".

Obama... "Giving law enforcement the tools they need to investigate suspicious activity is the right thing, and the Senate showed earlier this year that it can be done with the oversight of our judicial system so we do not jeopardize the rights of all Americans and the ideals America stands for. We should not let the PATRIOT Act expire at the end of this year, but instead extend the current law for three months so that we can come to an agreement on these critical issues in Congress."

Hardly seems like a "Right Wing Extremist" to me... yet, McCain is the one who said, "I will review the Patriot Act to check violations of civil liberties."

I've wanted a higher level of accountability in these matters for years. When one party claims the government can solve every problem for everybody, and tramples on peoples' rights by claiming they don't even exist, I'd sooner trust the other with the remaining liberties I have as well.report abuse

Leon,

We're now reaping the wonderful economic rewards of "conservative" leadership. Conservatives and Republicans in particular ARE dangerous to America. It's conservatives who got America in such debt to places like Communist China, and we're in the worst position since the great depression thanks to these creeps like George W. Bush. That people like you "support" people like that makes you unworthy of consideration at this point. You're so lost you don't even know you're lost.report abuse
