High Schools should offer classes in weatherization and energy saving. Part of the time would be "hands on" with local contractors.
Simple tasks, reading a tape measure and writing it down so someone else could read it.
How to replace broken glass and screens.
Window and door replacement.
Insulating and sealing air leaks.
Local Hardware Stores and Lumber yards could aid in the classes. They might offer part time jobs to some students.report abuse
