I'm with you, mdenis46.

Love JP's work...keep 'em coming.

By the way, Redstate, if you don't like his writing, why do you read it? Moreover, why do you then waste your time (and this space) complaining about it thereafter?report abuse

You know, it's as predictable as the sun rising. Devine writes an amusing column, not a weighty tome, pokes fun, not seriousness. And some right winger (I won't use the insults they always use against liberals) WILL bash him. If he were serious, he'd be bashed by the Reps. If he were to express any sort of opinion, he'd be bashed by the conservatives.

I'd also imagine that humor, like O Henry's, or poetry, like Emily Dickinson's would also be a waste of space, because there were so many other important things to write about.

The world doesn't revolve around petty little complaints about good writing -- which if you were even partly educated, you would appreciate.report abuse
