Yeah, thanks for the Sentinel and "this political science professor" for pointing out and getting the dig in about our President. Never leave a chance or try to get it in what a failure he is and was. Is that going to help matters? NO. Let's stop pointing the finger and WORK on solving the problem. This guy is a crackpot and has his own agenda. Don't attend this guy’s event and do our best to solve the problem at our own level. Maverick!report abuse

Thanks to the Sentinel for highlighting this program sponsored by the Mid-Maine Global Forum. Please note that due to a power outage that was not yet scheduled when we reserved the facility the program on Thursday night will be held in the dining rooms at Roberts Union on the Colby Campus and not at the Alumni Center.

There is no energy "crisis." The market has simply corrected, as energy costs in the USA were artificially low for generations. Lifestyles will adjust to the new reality. If that means northern New England, where we must heat for 8 months a year, is too expensive for some people to live, then that's just how it is.report abuse
