We can play a thousand what ifs like that one but I agree with Davis on this. Rick of Winslow, ME On the one hand, having the schools under one jurisdiction with the school district responsible for the maintenance and upkeep sounds like a good thing - but on the other hand, that makes each community responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all the schools in the entire district. Whether that's good or bad financially is a question many are perhaps asking.

As far as assigning teachers to schools within the district, I don't see that as a major issue.report abuse
