frankstower of Gardiner, ME There's only one place in Maine safe from future home invasions....the guy in Rome who shot laid in wait with a shotgun and fired a dozen rounds into their truck. When more people start shooting these dirt bags you'll see a marked decrease in the number of home invasions. Come invade MY house and see what happens!report abuse

felix of Canaan, ME Maybe it would help a bit if we all had some kind of description to go on rather that he was wearing " dark clothes and a red bandana". Look around any place and see how many other people are wearing dark colored clothes. He's probably ditched the red bandana a long time ago. Did he say anything? did he sound young or old, talk with an accent, stutter? was he wearing boots sneakers or what? what kind of build was he...short & stocky, skinny & tall..what? Having a big dog might help but then there are stories of the big dogs getting beaten or even shot. If some one came barging through my door I don't know if I would have time to grab a gun or any other kind of weapon would you? Andrenaline takes over in cases like this and for the most part people don't react the way they say they would if it would happen to them. I too hope they find this hoodlum but we all know that the chances of that happening are slim.report abuse
