Anger, resentment, retribution..., none of it will bring the dam back nor prevent dallaire st. from falling--quit shooting the messengers and start moving.

Or just stay there..., falling down..., hating fish..., angry at everyone....report abuse

Thank the "environmentalists". But for them the cost of keeping the dam operating would not be any higher than it's ever been. I'll bet the Town of Winslow doesn't plan any tax abatement for those along the empoundment that no longer is either. It's still gonna be considered waterfront property.
As I wandered around the periphery of the crowd at the Edwards Dam breaching 'ceremony' several years ago I heard several of the "environmentalists" say that they won't be happy until every dam in the state has been removed. How progressive...report abuse
